Ideas and inspiration come from forms and shapes around me. Because of this, a lot of my designs reflect the plant life and the geographical landscapes and shapes of my home in County Sligo. The undertaking of any design is always exciting as I have to figure out ways to manipulate the silver and may have to learn new techniques to accomplish it.

I work in silver for the largest part but enjoy using other non-precious metals like copper, brass and gold to achieve different results.

I am always changing and pushing myself to create something new. Since making the decision only to produce one-off pieces, I find I do not have the restrictions that would stop me creating what I want.

Each piece is individual with a story behind its design and making.
